I have the details now on London Hat Week, and it's all very exciting.
I'm sending down three pieces for the 'Milliners of Etsy' stand. A collection of UK milliners on Etsy are displaying their work, and mine will be included.
The inaugural 2014 Hat Week is running next Thursday to Sunday (6th - 9th of March). The Etsy display will be at Kingly Court, just off Carnaby Street (yes, I said CARNABY STREET!!! - to a girl from a council estate in Northumberland, who didn't go to London at all till she was 17, this is impossibly flash!). Sadly, I can't be there, due to previous commitments, (if it all works, and runs again, you won't be able to keep me away next time).
All of the hats on the stand will be available to buy. The hats will all be listed on Etsy, marked 'reserved for hat week', or similar, and they can be paid for on the day using the Etsy app. Bags and tissue are being provided, and hat boxes will be available to buy for £5 (for any size box).
I've got two of my pieces all picked out - the first is below, my little vintage styled dotty miniature pillbox... the second is a new design I've created (but not yet photographed), in sinamay... the third, I have yet to pick (I keep dithering).

I'll post some more next week when I have pictures of the second piece, and when I have decided on the third piece!!!

Oh, PS, I've also been asked to be a Guest Curator of the hatty bits of an exhibition at Wakefield Museum, which is fabulous - expect more on that when I have ore info.
